Know who you are dealing with
Check the seller’s identity, capacity and right to offer the vehicle or part. For businesses, check their location, details and documents appropriate to the transaction.
Do not rely on a familiar name, “Trusted” badge or document photo alone. Pause if the price is unrealistic, you are pressured to pay quickly or the other party refuses clear details.
Inspect the car before buying
View the car and compare its details and documents with the listing. Arrange an independent inspection with a provider you choose and check its condition, defects and available service history.
Agree on proper ownership transfer procedures and verify completion through the appropriate authorities. Maabilah Cars does not inspect or transfer ownership for the parties.
Check the part and the service
Match the part number, vehicle model, year and compatibility before paying. Ask about condition, authenticity, warranties and returns where offered, and record the supplier’s answers.
Before handing a vehicle to a garage or service provider, agree in writing on the work, cost, parts to be used, completion date and any warranty offered by that business.
Pay after checking and agreeing
Do not transfer money based only on a photo or message. Verify the item and recipient and retain evidence of your agreement and payment. Avoid deposits demanded under pressure or through untrusted links.
Maabilah Cars has no transaction payment or escrow service. Any request to pay the transaction price to the platform or someone claiming to collect it on our behalf is a reason to stop and check through official support.
Protect your account and your meeting
Never share passwords, sign-in codes or bank verification codes, even with someone claiming to be support. Open the official website address and avoid unfamiliar links.
Arrange viewings in a suitable, safe place and tell someone you trust about the meeting. Do not send document images or financial details to parties you have not verified.
If you suspect fraud
Stop financial interactions and retain the listing link, messages and any payment evidence. Contact your bank promptly if you shared financial details or made a suspicious transfer, and report to the appropriate authorities as relevant.
